At Cindy Bower and Peggy Ward Power Skating, it's our mission to teach our players how to move with the most efficiency on the ice but the least amount of effort.

Controlled balance is key. Concentration is placed on:

  • acceleration
  • body controlled edging (inside & outside)
  • stride development
  • pivoting
  • forward and backward crossovers
  • correcting our skaters' bad habits
  • drilling correct procedures repeatedly until they are second nature
